Kyokushin Karate

I began my journey in Full Contact Kyokushin Karate in 2024 under Mokoto Juko Sri Lanka, an organization led by its founder and one of Sri Lanka’s most respected full contact karate instructor, Jukucho Lakmal Fonseka. My training has been under the guidance of Colombo District Chief Instructor, Shyaranga Lakmal, one of his most accomplished students.

Within my first year of training, I had the opportunity to compete in Lakmal Challenge 24, Sri Lanka’s only recurring full contact karate tournament. I am currently ranked as a blue belt in Kyokushin Karate.
